Learning 21st century competencies such as critical thinking, problem solving, innovating, communicating, and collaborating, require acquisition and integration of complex social skills and attitudes. In collaborative learning, particularly, the outputs of teams are not always consistent with the individual qualities of members. Therefore, individual qualities must be assessed appropriately with the qualities of the team products.
