内容記述 本研究の目的は、母親へのアタッチメントが安定している児童ほど(母親に対するアタッチメント不安やアタッチメント回避が低い児童ほど)、学級満足度、学校生活意欲、ソーシャルスキルが高いかどうかを明らかにすることであった。調査対象者は、小学4 年生から6 年生の児童196 名(平均年齢10.5 歳:男児90 名、女児106 名)であった。調査の結果、(1) 母親へのアタッチメント不安やアタッチメント回避が低いほど、学級満足度、学校生活意欲、ソーシャルスキルは高いこと、(2) 全体的に見て、アタッチメント回避は、アタッチメント不安に比べて、学級満足度、学校生活意欲、ソーシャルスキルと関連しやすいこと、(3) 学級満足度においては、アタッチメント回避は承認得点と、アタッチメント不安は被侵害得点と関連すること、が示された。以上の結果から、児童期において、母親へのアタッチメントの安定性が学校生活を支える基盤として機能している可能性、が示唆された。
