| 内容記述 | 2003年産米は1993年の大凶作以来，10年来の不作となった。1993年は外国産の大量緊急輸入及び米のミニマム・アクセス，その後の米の関税化と大きな転機となった。1995年には食糧法の施行により，規制緩和が進み，その後米を取り巻く市場は一変した。米の消費減退が続くなか，消費者ニーズとしては米についても安全・安心志向となってきた。2004年はさらに規制改革が進み，米の販売は完全自由化された。生産と流通とも売れる米作りがますます必要とされる時代に入った。こうした市場ニーズに応えられる大型精米工場が今後の役割を果たすものであり，沖縄県の大型精米工場は，戦後の米流通構造の特質の中で発展してきたが，現在，新たに米を中心とした加工食品工場への転換が進められている。 | |||||||||
