| 内容記述 | 劉永福の率いた黒旗軍は、ベトナムでフランス軍相手に善戦したという戦績もあって、とりわけ有名な華人私兵集団である。黒旗軍の拠点ラオカイは、中国・雲南省との境界に位置するベトナムの街であるが、ホン河を通じた貿易ルートの要衝でもあった。黒旗軍はここを通過する商品に通行料を課し、収入源としていた。ラオカイを通過する商品には、ベトナムで算出される海塩が含まれている。もとより、中国では塩は国家の重要な収入源である一方、密売される「私塩」が秘密結社や反乱勢力の資金源となった。本稿は、ベトナム海塩の雲南省へ流入の歴史をたどり、ラオカイにおける通行料収入におけるベトナム海塩の重要性を明らかにし、中国史上の多く現れた「私塩」と深い関係の深い非公然組織の一つとして、黒旗軍を位置づけ直す。 | |||||||||
