The order of high-temperature tolerance of each morphological stage was hyphae \u003cinitials \u003cwhite sclerotia \u003cimmatured sclerotia \u003cmatured sclerotia. Matured sclerotia, in particular, resisted to 3-7 Chigher temperature than other stages. Rhizoctonia solani was more tolerant than Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in every stages. As ultraviolet irradiation to each stage, hyphae became extinct for 15-30min. irradiation, whereas initials for 3-5 days irradiation in Rhizoctonia solani and for 1-2 days in Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. On the other hand, all stages on and after white sclerotia survived even at the irradiation applied for 10 days. 内容記述 2種類の代表的菌核形成菌, Rhizoctonia solani KuhnとSclerotinia sclerotiorum(Libert.)de Baryを用いて菌核形成過程における諸形態の温度, 紫外線及びpH耐性を調べた。菌核形成時の各段階の耐温度性は両菌とも菌糸<菌核原基<白色菌核<着色直後の未熟菌核<成熟菌核の順であり, 特に成熟菌核は他の段階に比べて3&acd;7C高かった。紫外線耐性は菌糸と他の段階では大きな差があり, 両菌とも菌糸は15&acd;30分の照射で死滅したが, 菌核原基ではR.solaniで3&acd;5日, S.sclerotiorumでは1&acd;2日の照射で死滅した。さらに, 白色菌核以降の段階では10日間照射してもすべて生存していた。菌核原基は菌糸が分岐化して織り込みあった構造であるが中心部を紫外線から物理的に保護する程は分化しておらず, したがって紫外線耐性になった原因は, 菌糸自体の生理的変化によると考えられる。また, 成熟菌核のpH耐性は酸性域(pH4&acd;5)で低く, pH6以上の中性及びアルカリ性域で高かった。
