内容記述 オニヒトデ胃部に存在するコラーゲナーゼ, 酸性プロテアーゼはいずれもその至適pHは2.0附近にある。両酵素を硫酸アンモニューム沈澱, セファデックスG-150カラムクロマトグラフィに依り分離を試みたが成功しなかった。又CM-セルロースに依り両酵素活性は吸着されず, DEAE-セルロースに依っては両酵素とも若干吸着され, 吸着の程度においてコラーゲナーゼの方が強く(殊にpH5.0において)吸着された。EDTAを外液とする透析に依る両酵素活性の失活の程度, Ca^<++>イオン, Zn^<++>イオンに依るその賦活において両酵素において著しい差は認められなかった。然しコラーゲナーゼの方がその金属イオン要求度において強かった。以上よりして両酵素が同一タンパクではないにしてもその性質が著しく似ていることが明かとなった。ペプシンに特異的阻害剤によりオニヒトデ胃部酸性プロテアーゼが阻害されない所から, 本プロテアーゼはペプシン様酵素ではなく, この酸性プロテアーゼ標品に含まれるコラーゲナーゼ活性は酸性プロテアーゼがペプシン様酵素であるが故のものでないことを明かにした。
