Patients with G2M-hypertetraploid high grade gliomas had a significantly shorter time to tumor progression than patients with G2M-tetraploid tumors. The nuclear size of SG2M phase cells was larger and the nuclear shape was more markedly deformed than in G0G1 phase cells. However, there was no significant difference in the nuclear area or form factor in the SG2M nuclei between G2M-hypertetraploid and G2M-tetraploid cells with high grade glioma, high grade and low grade gliomas with G2M-tetraploid cell.
